Getting sound from the PS4 is not really as big of a problem. However, I don't know if game chat is transferred over optical and if OBS would be able to capture it. The other way I thought would be to run optical out from my PS4 to an Analog converter and plug that to an input on my Mixer, and use a second mic for the PS4. I didn't want to spend 50 bucks on an Icicle if this didn't work. The PS4 should see the headset as a usb headset then. Run one splitter into my Audio Interface for my stream, and use a Blue Icicle on the second split to plug into the PS4. I could attach an XLR splitter to the Headset.

One idead was use my Audio Technical Studio headset which is XLR. I had a couple of ideas but they are not gelling. While hoping OBS capture the chat on PS4 as well. If I have to use a second mic I can swing that but I need audio from my PS4 to my headphones. So what I am trying to do is be able to listen and speak to my stream, and also listen and speak to my PS4 with the SAME headset and mic if possible. Now I am aware I could fix the PS4 not having a mic easily enough buy just plugging in a USB mic, but that still means I have to listen through the Avermedia preview which sucks. This is because I am still using my PC headphones, and of course the PS4 had no mic at this time. If I switch to PS4, I use a capture card to stream the video but I have to use the Avermedia preview Window to hear stuff. On my streaming channel I of course use headphones and a separate Mic to stream PC games. Not really an odd question but apparently one that is a little confusing.
